The Red Playtesting Program was officially launched in 2023 in Warsaw to get user feedback that could provide valuable insights and unique perspectives for helping develop CDPR’s upcoming titles. The group is looking for input on everything from gameplay mechanics and storytelling to character development and artistic direction, all of which will occur from the very early stages of the production process.

In order to participate in the program, you must be at least 16 years old and not working in the video game industry. Alongside the change to give feedback regarding upcoming CD Projekt Red titles, participants will be rewarded with exclusive loot, which varies depending on the game.

While there is no specific timetable for when playtesting will begin for US participants, anyone interested can sign up by visiting the program’s website. Regardless of gaming background or skill level, anyone who is passionate about video games is encouraged to apply.

Currently, the developer has a handful of known games in development: The Witcher Polaris (a part of a new trilogy), The Witcher Sirius, The Witcher remake, Cyberpunk 2077 Orion (a sequel), and CD Projekt Red Hadar. There is no guarantee playtesters will work on any specific title if they join the US portion of the program, but there is always a chance you may have an impact on one of these highly anticipated upcoming titles.
