Cottondream Studios has announced an Early Access release date for their cozy management sim, Camping Resort Simulator. The game will launch on November 4, and there’s a demo available to play ahead of its release as part of Steam Next Fest through October 26.
Camping Resort Simulator is a management sim about transforming a wild stretch of coast into a resort for guests to stay. Players can lay out paths, place pitches, shape the landscape, and welcome guests who come to visit on vacation.
Any visitor to the resort can be clicked on in order to follow their day, and players can watch them wander and see what they enjoy. Each has a unique story for players to shape the resort into a place he or she will want to come back to.
In the game’s demo, players can build their first campsite with attractions such as a pool, an ice cream stand, a beach club with music and dancing, a playground, and a tourist train. Players can experience their campsite’s first big night by scheduling a show on the Activity Plaza and watching guests gather under the lights.
Here’s what Cottondream Studios developer Rafa Lázaro has to say about his game:
Camping Resort Simulator was born from playing it every day and watching what made a campsite feel alive. The first players are already building campsites we never imagined, and Next Fest is our chance to invite many more to the coast before the gates open on November 4. We read every comment.
The Early Access period for Camping Resort Simulator is planned to last from 12-18 months before the full release, which will have additional features such as staff management, guest entertainment (such as summer cinema, markets, and shows), new environments, more decorations and landscaping, and deeper statistics.
