Battleship Command solo developer Bracer and MicroProse have announced a publishing deal for the upcoming simulator.
The game, which has been in development for a while and of which we already saw plenty of gameplay, places you in command of a  Scharnhorst-class fast battleship tasked to bring down the fist of the Kriegmarine on Allied shipping during World War II.
While we don’t have a release date just yet, we know it’s coming to Steam, where a listing is already up for your wishlisting pleasure.
A new trailer has also been launched to celebrate the deal, and you can watch it below.
You may notice that the visuals are much improved compared to previous footage. That’s why an artist from the Task Force Admiral team has been helping out with the models. New textures are also coming.
Incidentally, we get a handy list of official features we can now expect.
• Authentic simulation of WWII naval gunnery and fire-control systems
• Historically accurate 3D model of the Scharnhorst-class battleship
• Expansive campaign areas covering Europe and North Africa
• Single missions and scenarios — both historical and fictional
• Quick and intuitive scenario editor
• Realistic damage and flooding modelling
• Dynamic ocean, weather, and lighting simulation
• Living world with active convoys, patrols, and merchant traffic
If you’re unfamiliar with MicroProse, the brand has been revived semi-recently after a long dormancy. Since then, it has honored its simulation powerhouse legacy, bringing under its publishing umbrella several interesting games like Sea Power: Naval Combat in the Missile Age, Task Force Admiral – Vol.1: American Carrier Battles, and many more.
It has even created a B-17 Flying Fortress for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and is currently working behind the scenes on Falcon 5.0 in collaboration with popular former DCS World third-party developer Razbam.
