We learn that the game will support all upscaling and frame generation technologies, ray-traced global illumination and reflections, ultra-wide resolution, dynamic resolution scaling, various settings presets, keyboard and mouse configuration, and controller customization.

You’ll also be able to check out your settings with an in-game benchmark.

We take a look at the dynamic seasons, the destructible environments, the dynamic wind and environmental particles, and the virtualized geometry of the environments.

You can watch it below. A detailed Q&A has also been provided by the developer.

We also get some rather detailed PC specs to play with. Incidentally, below you’ll read about “Selective Ray Tracing.” That basically applies ray tracing only to the in-game hideout while the rest of the game’s world is lit with traditional lighting techniques.

Standard Ray Tracing uses the GPU’s hardware raytracing capabilities to render the global illumination, while Extended Ray Tracing adds reflections.

Assassin's Creed Shadows PC System Requirements

Assassin’s Creed Shadows represents the debut of a Japanese location for the franchise, which fans have been asking for a long time. It features two protagonists, Yasuke, with his physical and strength-based approach, and Naoe, more focused on stealth.

It will be released on March 20, 2025, for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. The game has been delayed multiple times in the attempt to stick the landing, and we’ll have to wait and see whether Ubisoft will succeed in that.

If you’d like to see more, you can enjoy a recent story trailer, another showing Naoe’s and Yasuke’s unique playstyles.
