Ambulance Life: A Paramedic Simulator is launching a video series called Parademic Duties, and the first of these, Paramedic Duties: Bleeding, has just been released.
The Paramedic Duties series is focused on what players will face in the simulator. They’ll go through actions players will need to take during specific situations. They’re also showing off gameplay in new ways in these. Plus, they act as simple guides players can use when the sim is released.
The steps in Paramedic Duties: Bleeding are as follows:
- Look for bleeding (or signs of bleeding)
- Examine the patient to find the source of the bleeding
- Use bandages to stop the bleeding
- Check the patient’s blood pressure
- Apply a vascular access kit
- Give the patient saline solution to stabilize them
These steps are also a bit more in-depth, and players will need to clean areas of the patient’s body before taking several of these steps. Some of the steps include more interactive gameplay, such as controlling where and how the bandages are wrapped.
And remember, the goal of Ambulance Life isn’t to fix the patient — it’s to keep them stable while you transport them to the hospital.
