SCS Software released a new batch of screenshots showing one of the next DLCs coming for American Truck Simulator, South Dakota.
We get to see parts of the road network, including bridges and towns, on top of what appears to be a work-in-progress depot.
Interestingly, the screenshots of the depots provide a look at the many items placed to build it.
We also hear that the team that is working on South Dakota is the same team that designed Texas, Nebraska, and Iowa.
You can check out the screenshots in the gallery below.

American Truck Simulator is available for PC, and it’s the sister game to Euro Truck Simulator 2. PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions are also coming. Update 1.57 for PC has recently been made available.
Illinois is likely the next DLC coming after Louisiana, and you can check out its truck stops, the city of Marion, Rockford, Quincy, even more truck stops, Moline, Peoria, Champaign, and the prairies.
South Dakota should come afterward, and we already saw its Truck Stops, countryside, towns, and cities.
The game will soon cross the borders of the United States and go to Canada with the British Columbia DLC.
The developer is also working on a rework of the map around Route 66, of which we already saw a few new and remade cities.
Another big project is the Road Trip feature, spearheaded by the Ford Car Pack (of which we also saw the Ford Crown Victoria), which will expand the simulator’s experience from trucks to cars and pickup trucks, including pure exploration and the delivery of smaller packages.
