Ajaccio Napoleon Bonaparte Airport Released for MSFS 2020

FSX3D released a rendition of Ajaccio Napoleon Bonaparte Airport (LFKJ) in Corsica, France. It’s available on Simmarket for MSFS 2020 only for $14.76.

It includes the following:

  • Detailed modeling of terminals, buildings, and airport infrastructure
  • High-definition PBR textures optimized for performance
  • Accurate runways, taxiways, parking areas, lighting, and markings
  • Realistic integration within the Corsican landscape and Ajaccio Bay
  • Scenery optimized for an excellent balance between quality and FPS
  • Compatible with MSFS 2020 (PC)

Roadmap for MSFS 2024 Upgrade of F-22A Raptor Announced

Top Mach Studios announced its plans to upgrade its F-22A for MSFS 2024.

They’re as follows:

Key Development Objectives:

  • Complete overhaul of fly by wire system and physics model, incorporating true-to-life thrust vectoring simulation
  • Overhaul of exterior and cockpit model meshes, incorporating many additional details and increased visual accuracy
  • Texture overhaul for both exterior and cockpit models
  • Additional liveries and wear and tear appearance
  • Improved and new animations for both exterior and cockpit models
  • Integration of our custom developed, animated pilot figurine for both interior and exterior views, including JHMCS helmet model
  • Additional weapon loadout options and weapon models for both interior and exterior carriage
  • Stealth sensor pods and drop tank models
  • Resolve display and LOD issues to improve display at distances and in multiplayer
  • Complete overhaul of visual effects with many new effects and improved display logic
  • Updated lighting effects and lighting system improvements
  • Additional ground equipment and scene objects
  • Add night vision effect
  • Avionics and display overhaul – functional and graphical revisions for all displays and improved navigation and tactical simulation cockpit environment
  • Improved avionics software efficiency / optimization
  • Incorporate compatibility with 2024 EFB and flight planning tools
  • Additional keybinds incorporated for key aircraft animations (game logic permitting)
  • Revise aircraft startup procedures and cockpit interactions for accuracy

We also hear that there will be more changes not listed above, and that in many ways, this will be a “new” product when compared to the prior F-22 model. 

That being said, it’ll be available as a paid upgrade for existing customers on the official marketplace. The update has been in the works since Q4 2025, and the target release window islate Q1 or early Q2 2026.

AC-130J Ghostrider Released for MSFS 2020 and Coming for MSFS 2024

Captainsim released the AC-130J Ghostrider gunship for MSFS 2020 (on the official marketplace), with an MSFS 2024 release coming next week.

It costs $14.99, and it includes the following features:_

  • Airdrop (true to life physics and animation)
  • Highly detailed and accurate model of the AC-130J Ghostrider
  • 30mm & 105mm cannon armaments
  • High resolution textures
  • Cabin with 3D windows, interior and animated Air Force pilots
  • Complete cargo cabin with animated ramp and doors
  • Custom antennas and optional equipment
  • Functional flare dispensers (true to life physics)
  • Optional (removable) external tanks
  • Optional engines smoke effect
  • 8K livery of the USAF 18-5916 (2026)

  • The classic “steam gauge” C-130 cockpit
  • Advanced simulation of the classic C-130 systems (normal procedures)
  • High resolution textures
  • Hundreds of custom animations
  • Functional flare dispensers (true to life physics)
  • Adjustable cockpit lighting
  • Custom views
