Lou MagMell is a Revenant girl who gives the protagonist Revenant Hunter life by giving them half of her heart. She’s an important part of the story, as she travels with the protagonist to save the world. She seems dedicated to the protagonist, which could be due to their role in saving the world or because they share half of her heart.

Her gift allows her to follow an individual’s Pathos and see their past. Code Vein 2’s story revolves around time-traveling and saving the world, so Lou MagMell’s ability is important.

In combat, she can both attack enemies and shield allies with close-up melee attacks and long-range magic attacks. It also looks like she has a crowd-control ability to hold enemies for a brief period of time.

Players can check out the Code Vein 2 character trailer for Lou MagMell below:

Code Vein 2 is set to release on January 30, 2026, on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. There are Standard, Deluxe, and Ultimate Editions available for pre-order now.

Fans can look forward to more character trailers coming between now and then as Bandai Namco preps for the game’s launch. In the meantime, players can catch up on the news by checking out the announcement trailer from earlier this year. There are also details about the world and the time-travelling storyline that players can read up on here.
