Today, Microsoft and Asobo Studio released a brand-new City Update for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020.
Aptly dubbed City Update 10: United States 1, it includes five American Cities: Dallas and Fort Worth in Texas, Denver in Colorado, San Francisco in California, and Honolulu in Hawaii.
The content is completely free for both PC and Xbox Series X|S. All you have to do is unlock it in the official marketplace of the simulator of your choice (if you have both, unlocking it in one will unlock it in both). In MSFS 2020, you have to download it manually, while in MSFS 2024, it’ll just start streaming automatically.
Incidentally, this is among the best photogrammetry created for the simulators, and it looks really good. This is good news, considering that the quality hasn’t always been consistent.
You can check out the cities mentioned in the trailer and official screenshots below.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 is available for PC and Xbox Series X|S. It’s worth mentioning that Fenix’s aircraft are PC exclusive.
Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is also available for the same platforms following its recent release in November. If you want to see the massive visual difference against Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, you can enjoy our video and screenshot comparison.
