The Steam Idler Fest has launched, and it’s got deals on hundreds of different games that are low-stress, easy-to-play games that do half the work for you, progressing while you’re not there.
The sale includes games of all genres. Some of them even sit at the bottom of the screen so you can watch them progress.
Several idle games have had great success in the past few years, and a few of them are included in the sale. For example, Cookie Clicker and Rusty’s Retirement are two big names in the idle genre.
If you’re looking for a life sim, check out My Little Life or Ropuka’s Idle Island. Both offer different types of lifestyle experiences while being an idle game.
For those who want a management simulation game, there are plenty to choose from. Adventure Capitalist, Chillquarium, Chonkers, and Boba Simulator. There are also several sandbox games that hit this itch, like Idle Colony, Gourdlets, Fantasy Map Simulator, and Leaf Blower Revolution.
Don’t worry — there are a few idle games that feature action, too, like Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms (which features Dungeons and Dragons characters like Karlach and Minsc), and Tower Walker: MMO Grind Simulator.
There are also idle games that feature creature collectors for those who enjoy collecting, like Croakaloco and Creature Clicker – Capture, Train, Ascend.
And for those who want to take relaxing idle games to peak coziness, there are plenty of options to do so. Atmospheric idlers like ChillPulse, Plant Therapy, Chill Corner, and Garden In! are great options.
Demos are also a part of the Steam Idler Fest. There are over 100 new demos alone, including games like Bongo Cat, Tiny Pasture, and Bao Bao’s Cozy Laundromat.
Players can check out all the games that are part of the Steam Idler Fest here. Many of the developers are live streaming the games on Steam to show them off, as well.
Steam holds sales festivals (or “fests”) quite often, like the previous Steam Cooking Fest and the Sim Fest.
