Today, HoYoverse has revealed Zenless Zone Zero Version 3.2: Their Secret Histories is set to launch on September 9, 2026. The update adds a new Agent Specialty, two S-Rank Agents, a new main story chapter, free faction outfits, and a range of gameplay improvements.
Zenless Zone Zero Version 3.2: Their Secret Histories will introduce the Armorer Specialty, which balances offensive and defensive capabilities while adding new Maim and multi-CRIT mechanics to combat. S-Rank Electric Agent Claret, the head of Flint Workshop, will be the first Armorer character and will debut during the first half of the update. At the same time, S-Rank Wind Stun Agent Roxy, Claret’s assistant and the chief smith of Flint Workshop, will arrive during the second half.
Claret’s combat focuses on building up Gash on enemies, which she can use to trigger Maim for extra damage and boost Laceration DMG. Her skills scale with DEF, and any CRIT Rate above 100% powers her multi-CRIT mechanic. Players can also convert her starting CRIT DMG into CRIT Rate, making DEF, CRIT Rate, and CRIT DMG key stats for her build.
Armorer Agents gain access to Counter Assist, letting them counter enemy Control Skills and push foes back. Claret’s Signal Search channel will be live in the first half of Zenless Zone Zero Version 3.2: Their Secret Histories, with Roxy’s channel following in the second half.
Roxy’s combat centers on her Eyes of the Storm mechanic, letting her EX Special Attack create a tornado and form an Eye of the Storm while holding the button down. She can gather and detonate more Eyes to make a larger tornado. Her Ultimate unleashes multiple tornadoes for a strong area-of-effect attack.
Zenless Zone Zero Version 3.2: Their Secret Histories will also feature rerun Signal Searches, with S-Rank Agents Nangong Yu and Promeia returning alongside their respective Exclusive W-Engines during the first and second halves of the version.
The main story chapter, Their Secret Histories, sends the Proxies and their allies to Vyrium, a special zone in the Shrouded Reef, as they try to treat the mutated power inside them. Their investigation reveals that Roscaelifer, thought to be secure, has been secretly infiltrated by TOPS.
Meanwhile, a Porcelloy shipment from Flint Workshop goes missing, leading Claret and Roxy to investigate. Their search uncovers a secret research facility tied to Helios Academy. Lindverne Sunbringer, Administrative Director of the Airspace Patrol Department, also asks Claret to follow Porcelloy leads in the remains of Girtablullu.
The investigation uncovers links to a mysterious classmate, a long-lost friend, and secrets Sunbringer has kept for years, adding more mystery to the events in Vyrium. Players can earn new rewards in Zenless Zone Zero Version 3.2: Their Secret Histories, including Angels of Delusion faction outfits. Producer Zhenyu announced a free outfit campaign, with events running across Versions 3.2 and 3.3.

The 14-day Surprise Screening Plan check-in event lets players complete designated missions and choose one Angels of Delusion outfit. Meanwhile, Clink, Clank, Pinball Knight! will have players team up with Kahkiboo to create an artistic pinball machine, with an additional Angels of Delusion outfit available through the Angels Support Operation page after completing the event’s Challenge Mode.
Other limited-time activities will include the virtual pet-raising event Diary of an Orbie Parent, the Booastrum detective event Chronicles of the Hobbling Crow, and the HIA virtual combat event Shadow Chase Showdown. These events will provide rewards such as Polychromes, Tuning Calibrators, and other in-game resources.
Enigma of the Labyrinth: Operation Bagel will also receive a new season update. Zenless Zone Zero Version 3.2: Their Secret Histories will serve as a standard season update, adding new Z-Rank valuables and character Gear, advanced challenges, server-wide rankings, season mission resets, season-limited inventory expansions, and new Proxy accessories available through the store.
Claret and Roxy will additionally bring new Tactical Prisms and Armorer Specialty General Gears to the mode. A new Break-Even Beacon item will allow players to summon a Bangboo to carry some supplies away in advance, ensuring those supplies are not lost if an extraction attempt fails and allowing them to remain part of the current round’s supply tally. HoYoverse also confirmed that a larger themed season update featuring new maps, systems, and high-difficulty challenges is in development.
Hollow Zero will receive exclusive Gear updates for Claret and Roxy, while the Beginner Guide is being expanded to include Jane, Hugo, and Soldier 0 – Anby. Players who did not claim the Agent self-select perk in Version 3.1 will be able to choose one of the three Agents after updating to Version 3.2, with corresponding Exclusive W-Engines becoming available after completing the Phase 2 missions.
Agent Koleda will also receive an enhancement, while the Perfect Assist system is being optimized to make its visual indicators more consistent. Golden flashes will now consistently indicate Defensive Assist, while red flashes will consistently indicate Evasive Assist. A new Armorer-exclusive VR Training stage will also be added, alongside the Bloodmarrow Coffer W-Engine, which will be obtainable through City Fund Benefits in future versions using the Great Builder’s Certificate.
Logging in during the update will also provide players with a cumulative total of 10 Encrypted Master Tapes and 10 Boopons. Zenless Zone Zero Version 3.2: Their Secret Histories launches September 9, 2026, on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5 Pro, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox Cloud Gaming, Xbox PC, PC, iOS, Android, and Steam.
