HoYoverse has revealed the details of Zenless Zone Zero Version 3.1 in a new Special Program. The upcoming version celebrates the second anniversary of the game, and there are plenty of rewards, as well as new characters, events, optimizations, and more on the way.
To start with, the first Lumiflux attribute Agent is coming with Zenless Zone Zero Version 3.1: S-Rank Anomaly Agent Remielle Dan. Her Attribute Flux mechanic makes it so that her damage output’s attribute syncs up with that of the next Agent in the squad. This means players can tailor her attribute with her squadmates to best take down enemies, making her a very flexible unit.
After accumulating resources, Remielle can enter the Phase Flow state. In this state, she can provide buffs for her squadmates while off the field. When her resources are charged completely, she’ll use an Assist Attack that uses the new Lumiflux-exclusive Regringe reaction, which converts Anomaly Buildup into an explosion.
Another S-Rank Agent, Sigrid, is also joining the playable roster with Version 3.1. Sigrid is an Ice Attack Agent whose kit focuses on her Aerial Patrol Spear Form. She enters this form after her Unbridled Spear skill hits an enemy. While in this form, she can perform different Basic Attacks while also boosting her own Crit Rate.
Remielle will be available for the entirety of Zenless Zone Zero Version 3.1, while Sigrid will be available during the second half. Along with the new Agents, Aria will be running in the first half, while the second half will feature either Dialyn, Ukinami Yuzuha, or Asaba Harumasa per the player’s choice.
Both Remielle and Sigurd will release with summer swimsuit skins, alongside Vivian, and Remielle will also release with an all-black outfit. An S-Rank Bangboo, Ariel, will also be released alongside Version 3.1.
Zenless Zone Zero Version 3.1 celebrates the second anniversary of the game, and players will be able to choose one of the following S-Rank Agents and their W-Engines to celebrate:
- Jane Doe
- Soldier 0 – Anby
- Hugo
- Trigger
- Lucia
There will also be a total of 1,600 Polychromes given as version login rewards, and another check-in event during the second half of the patch will give 10 Encrypted Master Tapes.
There will be a new permanent game mode, Enigma of the Labyrinth: Operation Bagel. which brings rescue missions. These have stages where players will need to get supplies and make themselves stronger and extracting once they’ve found the loot they need.
There will also be several limited-time events, such as Summer Waves Roll In, a beachcombing adventure and management event. Players can earn the new Princess on Holiday outfit for Lucy through the event. A top-up event will also be available.
Version 3.41 will also include several optimizations. To start with, players will be able to choose six S-Rank Agents from the limited/Standard banners to be part of their Signal Search. This will also apply to W-Engines and A-Rank Agents.
A new Beginner’s Guide will replace the Proxy Trial, and it’ll help players progress more easily with team composition and enhancement suggestions. Additionally, a new batch unlock/lock option will be available for W-Engines.
Last but not least, Nekomata, Jane Doe, and Rina will receive enhancements to their kits that players can choose to upgrade.
Zenless Zone Zero Version 3.1 will be available on July 29, 2026, on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and mobile devices. Players can check out the trailer for the trailer for the version below:
