Today, Deep Silver and King Art Games showed off the Orks, which will be one of the four factions you’ll encounter across the vast world of Kronus in Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War IV
In the Warhammer community, the Orks have a deep history: this biologically engineered species was created more than 60 million Terran years ago as a warrior race, known for possessing advanced technology and standing up to 12 meters tall. The species is literally built for relentless, anarchic violence, and this game will be no different.
Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War IV is giving players their first taste of the Orks’ return to Kronus, as the trailer below shows off their narrative role, brutal playstyle, key units, commanders, and the devastating Waaagh! ability, which can turn the tide of battle through sheer numbers and overwhelming firepower.
The Orks’ return to Kornus will be the species’ most prominent role in the series since they got their own standalone title, Warhammer 40,000: Shootas, Blood & Teef, which was released back in 2022.
Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War IV is set to be an exciting new sci-fi RTS experience set within a faithful recreation of the beloved Warhammer 40,000 universe. Players will take charge of four factions in an epic story that spans multiple non-linear campaigns, clash with other players in tense multiplayer combat, and enjoy fan-favorite modes including Last Stand, Skirmish, and more.
