Today, Polyphony Digital revealed the first major content update of 2026 of Gran Turismo 7, Update 1.67, which arrives on January 29 (January 28 at 10 PM PT), introducing a mix of high-end motorsport and a record-breaking electric wildcard.
The Gran Turismo 7 1.67 update adds three new cars, including two race models and the latest BEV sports car:
- Xiaomi SU7 Ultra ’25: Electric supercar features a massive 1,527 BHP (1,548 ps) and is a current Nürburgring EV record holder
- Porsche 911 GT3 R (992) ’22: Latest in GT3-spec performance for the 911 line.
- Hyundai ELANTRA N TC ’24: A race-bred touring car built to TCR regulations, designed for high-stakes competition
New challenges have been added to the World Circuits menu, including three new racing events that focus on the World Touring Car series: World Touring Car 600 at Nürburgring Nordschleife, World Touring Car 700 at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, and World Touring Car 800 at Mount Panorama Motor Racing Circuit.
Alongside the new cars and courses, a New Café Menu, Scapes Curation, and Online Lap Time Challenge will be added. The challenge in particular will be a special event featuring the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra at the Monza circuit, which will launch alongside the update.
Since its release on March 22, 2024, Polyphony Digital has consistently updated the racing simulator, including a free demo called My First GT and a series of free monthly updates, with many more planned for the rest of 2025. Gran Turismo 7 is currently available on PS4 and PS5 for $69.99.
