You can reserve your stick on the North American, European, or UK stores, priced at $219.95, €189.95, or £189.95, respectively.

An optional CDT Throttle Module is also available for $19.95/€14.95/£14.95, depending on where you pre-order. The first shipments will be done in early June 2025, so you won’t have to wait too long for your unit.

The Virpil CDT-Aeromax is designed as a mid-market offering (CDT means “cadet”) capable of punching above its weight with features usually included only in expensive flight sticks.

Here’s a brief overview of what you can expect.

They include 14-bit native resolution and are able to detect a 0.02° angle input.

Virpil also released a teaser trailer and a few images of the flight stick to give you a good look at what it looks like. In the gallery, you can also find a list of buttons to better gauge whether the CDT-Aeromax

Of course, it’s compatible with all simulators (it doesn’t even require external drivers), including Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and MSFS 2020, Star Citizen, DCS World, and many more.
