Street Fighter 6 and Sushiro Collaboration Art

Today several developers shared plenty of interesting gaming news, about games bit and not-so-big.

Like every day, here at SimulationDaily, we post a roundup with more gaming news that couldn’t be covered in individual articles, to keep you up to date with the work of a wider variety of developers.

NCSoft invests in Moon Rover Games

Korean publisher NCSoft invested $3.5 million to fund an “ambitious” FPS project in development at Swedish studio Moon Rover Games.

Specifically, Moon Rover Games is working on a co-op FPS based on a new IP code named “Project Aldolus” for both PC and consoles. It’s formed by veterans of FPS franchises like Battlefield, Far Cry, and Tom Clancy’s The Division.

As the sole investor in this seed round, NCSoft is in discussions with the studio about possible further investments, future partnerships and publishing rights for the game.

Incidentally, according to the announcement, NCSoft intends to announce several initiatives in August, including investment in a Korean studio.

Street Fighter 6 Reveals Summer Fighting Pass and Collaboration With Kaiten Sushi Chain

Capcom has revealed the Summer Samba Slam fighting pass for its popular fighting game Street Fighter 6. This includes new avatar gear and more.

Interestingly, we also take a look at a collaboration with Sushiro. If you’re not familiar with it, it’s a popular and very affordable kaiten sushi (conveyor belt sushi) chain in Japan.

Street Fighter 6 is available for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Alterna Vvelt -Blue Exorcist Another Story Reveals Rin Okumura Gameplay

Aniplex USA released a trailer of the upcoming free-to-play action RPG Alterna Vvelt -Blue Exorcist Another Story, focusing on showing off protagonist Rin Okumura in action.

The game will come this summer for PC, iOS, and Android, and is already open for pre-registration.

Ashes of Creation Shows Bard Archetype in Action

Ashes of Creation developer Intrepid Studios released an extensive video showing off plenty of gameplay of its upcoming MMORPG.

This time around, we get to see the Bard archetype in action, while we wait for the upcoming second alpha phase. The game is in development for PC following a successful crowdfunding campaign.

Sword of Convallaria Launches on PC nd Mobile

XD released Sword of Convallaria, a free-to-play tactics RPG with gacha mechanics on PC via Steam, iOS, Android.

The game draws pretty open inspirations from titles like Final Fantasy Tactics, and comes with rather fetching 3D visuals intending to pay homage to pixel art.

It promises a deep story with choice-based consequences and a score by popular composer Hitoshi Sakimoto.
