To start, the developers have reset the driver camera, which now returns it to its default angle, while also fixing the Recently Played menu sorting and the Last Played badge. Stability-wise, the patch fixed a crash caused by a missing timetable reference when loading saved games and improved axle physics for small-radius wheels.

Train Sim World 6 had numerous route-specific issues across multiple add-ons that have not been addressed. These range from major improvements to Stuttgart–Heilbronn, which adjusted lighting and motor sounds and added support for the DB Br 140 Formation Designer, to minor improvements like Pfälzische Ludwigsbahn adding a missing crossing signal and PZB magnets near Kaiserslautern.

Locomotive updates in the patch include:

  • Class 220 Voyager – Improved cab exit mechanics; players can no longer accidentally walk out while the train is in motion, and you can now climb out properly
  • NJT ALP-45DP – Fixed speed text display in night mode and addressed a clipping issue when exiting the driver’s seat
  • LNER Class 801/DB BR 101 – Addressed long-standing bugs like the fuse cabinet issue and the LZB distance counter

Players can see the full list of patch notes and quality-of-life improvements coming alongside the update, which went live as early as today on console and PC, via the patch notes linked here.

Train Sim World 6 is available now for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Epic Games Store, and Steam for $39.99. For more information on this and other new routes, like the TfW Class 142, Cargo Line Volume 5, or Avanti West Coast, be sure to check back to Simulation Daily.
