With the update, users will be able to enjoy the “year in review” for 2025, showing off a multitude of statistics about their flights, from the favorite aircraft to the number of visited countries, and more.

The Year in Review will also award users with badges that can be displayed in their profile and even on their cards during flight, with more badges coming out in the future.

Of course, there is more, including the customary serving of minor tweaks and fixes.

You can read the patch notes below, directly from Volanta’s Discord server.

Enhancements

  • The Volanta 2025 year in review is here: check out your statistics, favorite aircraft, how many countries you visited and more!
  • Premium users will be able select one of the badges they earned in the 2025 year in review to be visible on their profile and flights. We’ll be adding more badges for you to earn with time!
  • Diversions will now show on your Discord status.
  • Screenshots can now be deleted from aircraft pages.

Fixes

  • Increased brightness of the flight path line when taxiing to improve visibility, especially on the satellite map.
  • Fixed default browser toolbars sometimes appearing on aircraft screenshot tabs.
  • Fixed deleted screenshots still showing on aircraft pages up to 30 minutes after they were deleted.
  • Fixed not being able to see screenshots on a flight when logged out on the website.

If you’re unfamiliar with Volanta, it’s a flight-tracking application published by Orbx that is free to download and comes with a growing set of features on top of the basic ability to track your flights.

You can also opt to pay a premium subscription monthly or yearly to unlock even more advanced features like Scheduled pause and more.

Volanta is platform-agnostic, so it works with all major flight simulators, including Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, X-Plane, DCS World, Prepar3D, and more.

It’s currently available for PC, iOS, and Android, on top of a handy web browser version, which you can check out without an account to see who’s flying at any given time.

If you’d like to read more flight simulation news, you can find plenty in our latest roundup article from yesterday.
