Wanaka Region for Microsoft Flight Simulator Releasing “Very Shortly”
After a few months of silence, NZA Simulations announced that its Wanaka Region add-on (portrayed above with a single screenshot) will release “Very Shortly” for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
Developed by Stéphane Beilliard, it will cover a 5,000 square Km area including Mt Aspiring National Park, Lake Wanaka, Lake Hawea, and beyond. Of course, Wanaka Airport (NZWF) will also be included.
Incidentally, the developer also mentioned that it’ll work hard to have its current scenery ready for the release of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
Tofino-Long Beach Airport Released for X-Plane
CanadianFlightSimStudios released its rendition of Tofino-Long Beach Airport (CYAZ) for X-Plane 12. It’s available on Orbx Direct for $9.85.
It’ll include the following features:
- Highly accurate buildings
- Highly accurate terminal interior
- High-resolution textures and PBR
- Accurate airport data
- Accurate, custom night lighting
- Accurate runway markings and signage
- Color correct 30cm/per pixel orthoimagery
- YAZ-specific details hidden throughout the scene
Yellowstone Airport Released for Microsoft Flight Simulator
Peal Simulations 2 released Yellowstone Airport (KWYS) for Microsoft Flight Simulator. It’s currently available on Simmarket for $15.66.
It features the following:
- Over 50 handcrafted buildings
- Custom ground textures
- true-to life night lighting
- 4k textures
- detailed rendition of West Yellowstone Airport
YF-23 Black Widow for Microsoft Flight Simulator Gets New Renders
Top Match Studios released more images of its upcoming YF-23 Black Widow, this time around showing the exterior modelling.
Bombardier Challenger 350 For Microsoft Flight Simulator Gets New Screenshots
FlightFX released new renders of the upcoming Bombardier Challenger 350, this time around showing details of the engines and reversers.
The developer also promised to share an update on the flight deck on Friday.
DCS World Update 2.9.8.1107 Released
Eagle Dynamics quietly released a rather relevant update for its military flight simulator DCS World.
This includes the sunsetting of the single-threaded client on top of performance improvements and much more. Several aircraft also received specific updates.
