Flight Simulation developers shared news today, including aircraft and airports for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and MSFS 2020, as well as X-Plane 12.

Albuquerque International Sunport for MSFS Gets New Screenshots 

Pacific Islands Simulation provided new screenshots of its Albuquerque International Sunport (KABQ) in New Mexico, United States.

Unfortunately, we learn that the project’s progress has been hampered by a computer failure.

Tecnam P2012 V2 Released for MSFS 2024

FlightSim Studio released v2 of its Tecnam P2012 Traveller, It’s available on Aerosoft for $29.99.

It includes the following features.

  •  Native MSFS 2024 build using the new flight model and aerodynamics engine
  • Career mode ready
  • 7 cabins: VIP, Airliner, Combi, Cargo, Medevac, Skydive, Special Mission Platform
  • New VIP cabin based on original manufacturer data
  • Reworked exterior model with added detail
  • Passenger and cargo simulation with cabin and cargo load system
  • Working Title G1000 NXi with our own extensions, FADEC, GMC710 autopilot
  • Weight based tire deformation and aircraft state persistence

Baghdad Airport v2 Released for MSFS 2024

Azrsim released Baghdad Airport v2. For the moment, it’s available only on the official MSFS 2024 marketplace for PC and Xbox.

It’ll come to iniBuiods at a later time.

Boeing 777-200LR and ER Released for X-Plane 12

FlightFactor released the Boeing 777-200LR and ER for X-Plane 12. The full package with the stand-alone aircraft, is available on X-Plane.org for $119.00 with the following features.

  • 777-200ER GE90-90B
  • 777-200LR GE90-115BL

Flight model

  • Proprietary flight model, within 2%–5% on standard certification tests. Developed and tested with real pilots.
  • Weight and balance fully calculated from the basic weights, including cabin chair configuration, oil, filters, water, waste, and more.

3D Modeling

  • Accurate dimensions based on exterior drawings.
  • Very detailed exterior modelling with high-resolution textures.
  • Very high-resolution 3D cockpit.
  • Very detailed passenger cabin graphics, adjustable with different cabin configurations available in-sim.
  • Additional graphic features: real working oxygen masks in both cockpit and cabin, dynamic window blinds that react to sunlight, and more.

Just Flight and Thranda Design announced that the Piper PA38 Tomahawk will come for X-Plane 12.

It’ll include It’ll include 8K interior and exterior textures, reworked PBR materials, reworked flight dynamics, and new FMOD sounds.
