Lift Aircraft Hexa Released for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024

Simpunk released the MSFS 2024 version of its Lift Aircraft Hexa VTOL drone. It’s available on Orbx Direct for $11.65.

It includes the following features.

  • Accurate 3d model
  • High-resolution carbon fiber texture
  • Custom Fly By Wire flight system and flight dynamics modeled from scratch
  • Customized instrumentation
  • Automatic take-off and landing functions
  • Can land on both land and water
  • Immersive and realistic sounds
  • VR compatible

Embraer ERJ Family 2.0 for X-Plane Gets First Flight Deck Screenshots

X-Crafts showcased the first screenshots of the flight deck of version 2.0 of its ERJ Family. According to the developer, the performance impact compared to the 1.0 version is “almost negligible” despite much higher resolution textures.

The avionics have been reworked as follows.

  • High-resolution displays with a new, accurate moving map
  • Completely redesigned PFDs and MFDs that match real-world avionics
  • A brand-new EFB tailored for the ERJs
  • The authentic FMS, making its ERJ debut

Both FMS units can be popped out as 2D panels and even dragged to another monitor.

The package is already being tested and should be released this year if all goes well.

Copenhagen Airport, Kastrup Released for MSFS 2024 and MSFS 2020

Microsoft Flight Simulator Copenhagen

Simnord released its Copenhagen Airport, Kastrup, serving the capital city of Denmark.

It’s available on the developer’s own store and Simmarket for $25.12. You can see what it looks like in the sizable gallery above.

Real Taxiways for MSFS 2024 Coming this Week as Black Square Works on MSFS 2024 Ports of its Aircraft

Just Flight announced that an MSFS 2024 version of Real Taxiways by Black Square will be coming this week. It’ll include thousands of signs updated, improved nighttime emissives, and LOD optimization.

The developer is also working on porting its aircraft to MSFS 2024, including the Starship.
