You can find all the flight simulation news below.

Cessna Citation M2 Announced for Microsoft Flight Simulator

LivToAir announced on its Discord Server that it’s now working on a Cessna Citation M2. It’ll have the same features as the previously released Cessna Citation CJ3+, plus some extra ones that will also backported to its predecessor.

3D work is near completion, and work on the systems will start soon. It’ll be priced at $26.99, and the developer promises to do their best to offer CJ3+ owners a 40% discount on the new aircraft.

Cessna Citation Sovereign+ for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and MSFS 2024 Gets New Screenshots

After a few months of silence, Skyward Simulation released two new screenshots of its Cessna Citation 680 Sovereign+ on its Discord Server.

This time, we get to see a rather fetching view of the flight deck’s dashboard.

F-22 Raptor for Microsoft Flight Simulator Gets Development Update

Following the announcement of a new line of aircraft yesterday, Iris Simulations revealed a development update for the first, an F-22 Raptor.

“This past weekend we’ve been deep-diving into our existing assets and refreshing our old development build of the F-22 Raptor for Microsoft Flight Simulator. With everything we’ve learned over the past few years, it’s been exciting to bring this iconic aircraft up to modern standards and breathe new life into the project.

Today, we’ve also been hard at work updating code and remapping the aircraft textures to ensure a smoother, more streamlined experience for repainters. Instead of spreading components across multiple bitmaps, we’re consolidating them into a more cohesive layout — making the most of the incredible canvas that the F-22 provides.

While our goal isn’t to create a study-level simulation — others have done an excellent job in that space — our focus is on delivering a cost-effective, accessible, and highly enjoyable experience for the wider flight sim community. We want to make sure every simmer can take the Raptor for a spin without needing to break the bank or study a real-world manual.”

Toowoomba Wellcamp Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator Slightly Delayed but Coming “very Soon”

Microsoft Flight Simulator Toowoomba Wellcamp Airport

AUScene announced that Toowoomba Wellcamp Airport (YBWW) is currently in beta testing and release will be “very soon.”

It was previously expected to come in August, but now the developer is aiming for the first week of September if all goes to plan.

F-35 for X-Plane Gets New Screenshots

AOA Simulations revealed more screenshots of its F-35B Lightning II for X-Plane 12.

We also get a brief development update.

“We’ve started working on liveries for the F-35B!
On the avionics side, David has put together a pretty convincing RWR, and the rest of our time is split between testing, writing the manual, and improving the FMOD package. Lots of exciting progress ahead! “

Waimea–Kohala Airport Released for X-Plane 12

Northern Sky Studio released another airport in Hawaii for X-Plane 12, Waimea–Kohala Airport (PHMU). It’s available on Orbx Direct for $15.07.

It includes the following features:
