Katowice Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator Gets New Screenshots and Dev Update

Drzewiecki Design revealed new work-in-progress screenshots of the upcoming Katowice Airport (EPKT) in Poland.
We also get a brief development update from the developer.
“Development at Katowice is moving full speed ahead, with big milestones reached over the past two weeks.
Hangar 1, the smaller southern hangars, the Old Cargo terminal, and multiple technical buildings are now complete and placed in the sim. The ATC tower is currently in progress, with modeling underway.
On the ground side, the full layout is nearly finished. Edge markings, concrete seams, tire skid placement, and apron dirt layers have been completed. Ground lines have been exported, refined, and aligned across the airside.
Taxiway lighting is fully implemented, and AFCAD is in place — ready for testing. We’ve also completed surface flattening for parking areas around cargo, tower, and maintenance zones, with terrain adjustments now fully matched to CGL for seamless blending.
Every texture and surface has been fine-tuned for maximum realism, and performance remains a key focus throughout.”
