Kodiak 100 for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 Reaching Final Stage of Development

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 Kodiak 100

SimWorks Studios announced that the Kodiak 100 for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is reaching the final stage of development.

The aircraft itself is complete, so the developers are focusing on final refinements and MSFS 2024-specific adjustments.

Here’s what you can expect.

  • Implementation of dirt and wear effects
  • A small number of minor cosmetic refinements
  • Sound adaptation to the FS2024 audio environment
  • What to Expect Compared to the MSFS 2020 Version:
  • The Kodiak 100 has been reassembled as a fully native FS2024 aircraft, taking advantage of new simulator features.
  • One of the major highlights is avionics depth. All G1000 pages simulated: from systems pages to weight and balance, this is the deepest G1000 you will find.
  • A working cargo pod
  • The aircraft also integrates several FS2024-specific features, including:
  • FS2024-native preflight functionality
  • FS2024 dirt, wear, and tear effects
  • Visible FS2024 passengers and cargo loads

Release will happen in January, but the developer is trying to launch the new version of its Okavango Delta scenery before Christmas.
