Airbus A300-B4 for Microsoft Flight Simulator Gets New Screenshot and Dev Update

Microsoft Flight Simulator A300B4

Just Flight released new screenshots and a development update about its vintage Airbus A300-B4. This is actually the first time that we get a full look at the exterior.

The exterior textures are made in 8K resolution. As usual, the weathering will be quite heavy as Just Flight likes to create aircraft that look well used. Artists are currently working on the landing gear before moving to the interior of the cargo holds.

We learn that both the A300B4-203 and the A300B4-103 will be included, with the freighters as well. The cabin has a two-class layout, and it’ll include plenty of features in the galleys.

The flight model is progressing “very well,” and work on the sound set will start soon.

All the aircraft systems have been fully coded, and the aircraft will soon enter wider testing. The navigation systems are fully custom-coded, including a Carousel IV-A Inertial Navigation System (CIVA INS) and the autopilot logic.

A release date has not been announced just yet.
