Aerial Simulations released its F/A-18E Payloads package that adds pylons and the ability to add weapons and drop tanks to the default F/A-18E.
It’s available on the official marketplace for $9.99.
It includes the following payloads. It’s worth mentioning that they add weight and drag, and the drop tanks actually contain fuel to extend your range.
- FPU-12 Droptanks
- Mk82
- Mk83
- Mk84
- GBU-38
- GBU-32
- GBU-31
- GBU-31 BLU109
- GBU-12
- GBU-16
- GBU-10
- AIM-9X
- AIM-120C
The developer also provided an update about its Boeing 707, including two WIP images of the landing gear bay.
“The external update is flying by with the biggest section being tackled, the main gear bays. Lot of external access hatches have been added including the external air, external power, lavatory hatches, fuel loading station. The front gear has had lots of details added to its bay as well.
Systems are moving forward too. The electrical system is first to be fully finished. I got a bit carried away and added some consequences to incorrect generator management even though i said we wouldn’t do abnormal ops… you need to make sure the generators are paralleled correctly before trying to add them to the bus, or at least not try and bypass the auto sync circuits by using the bus tie breakers, or you might find you no longer have a generator.”
