Mini-Max 1500R Sport Announced for MSFS 2024 and MSFS 2020 Gets New Screenshots

Emerald 1500R Sport

Emerald Scenery Design published new screenshots of its upcoming experimental aircraft, the Mini-Max 1500R Sport.

The images were published on Orbx Direct, although the aircraft is not for sale just yet.

It’ll include the following features:

  • 12 hand-crafted liveries
  • Custom Wwise Sounds
  • 2-stroke choke simulation, including flooding (Optional + Persistent)
  • A breakable prop, resulting in engine damage (Reset with Slew Mode)
  • Multiplayer Smoke
  • Headphone Simulation
  • A toggleable prop spinner (Persistent)
  • Tinted glass (Optional + Persistent)
  • Togglable Chocks
  • Togglable Pitot Cover (Will affect airspeed if left on)
  • Dynamic Vibration Simulation for gauges and various parts (Tunable Intensity + Persistent)
  • VR Motion Control Support for Stick, Switches, & Levers

Caproni-Vizzola C-22J Ventura Released for MSFS 2024

Mario Noriega Designs released the MSFS 2024 version of its Caproni-Vizzola C-22J Ventura light jet.

It’s available on Simmarket for $10.56, and if you already have the MSFS 2020 version, you get the upgrade at no additional cost.

X-Plane 12.4.0 Update Gets New Beta Build

X-Plane 12.4.0

Laminar Research released a new beta build of X-Plane 12 update 12.4.0.

Here’s what you can expect from the official patch notes:

Aircraft

  • Fixed a crash when starting a flight using the Grumman F-14 Tomcat with AI Aircraft in place

Avionics & Radio

  • There will be no longer a huge FPS penalty when popping out an avionics instrument (XPD-16890)
  • Fixed ATIS Frequencies (XPD-17705)

Graphics

  • Fixed scenery flicking when using popped out windows (XPD-17621)

User Interface & Controls

  • Show ramps and runways correctly when returning from the special starts view back to the airport view (XPD-17706)

SDK

  • Improved error logging and handling
  • Fixed function XPLMIsCursorOverAvionics
  • Fixed 3d mouse cursor callbacks of custom devices
  • Fixed a crash when right-click dragging out of a custom device manipulator
  • XPluginReceiveMessage will be called with the correct plugin id now, when a plugin requests TCAS/AI control (XPD-17713)
