FSS Provides Update on E-Jets, Boeing 727 Series, and Tecnam Aircraft for MSFS

FlightSimn Studio revealed the latest updates about its aircraft, starting with the Boeing 727 Series.

A new update numbered 1.1.6 will be released soon for the 727-200 will be released soon. The goal is to release it before the end of 2025 or in early 2026. The aircraft has different sytsems in some areas compared to its newest counterpart, and there are differences in the flight deck.

Regarding the E-Jets, VNAV has just been released to testers, and an experimental version will be distributed at some point to all users. Before that can be done, there’s a list of items that need to be achieved, including the implementation of TCAS and migrating all sound logic to wasm. The hope is to deliver this by the end of the year, but the developer can’t promise it.

Lastly, the Tecnam aircraft are being updated exclusively for MSFS 2024, with features like the walkaround mode and integration with the native EFB. The Tecnam P2012 is already in a very advanced stage of development and will enter beta early 2026.

  • Authentic Libyan Atmosphere Custom objects, clutter, static vehicles, and regional design elements create a true sense of place unique to Tripoli.

The landmarks include:

  • Handcrafted Tripoli Landmarks Each custom landmark has been built with accuracy and clean, optimized modeling to replace generic autogen structures and give Tripoli its real-world identity. These points of interest offer improved VFR navigation, stunning visuals on approach, and a true sense of place.
  • Authentic Environment Enhancements Bring the Libyan atmosphere to life with region-specific environmental elements designed to enrich your low-altitude flying:
  • Camels in Natural Desert Settings Realistic wildlife placement adds personality to the desert outskirts and makes helicopter and bush flights more engaging.
  • Oil Pump Jacks & Industrial Details Accurate energy-sector objects add depth to Tripoli’s industrial zones and enhance immersion during exploration.

The developer also shared on Discord a tease of its upcoming King Abdulaziz International Airport (OEJN) serving Jeddah, in Saudi Arabia.
