Tripoli Airport Developer Accelerates Abandonment of MSFS 2020

Azrsim revealed on its Discord Server that its Tripoli International Airport (HLLT) will be released only for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.

This is a change compared to the previous announcement, which mentioned that the airport would be the last to be released by the developer for MSFS 2020 as well. Azrsim has now decided to officially discontinue MSFS 2020 support.

The developer has taken this decision after realizing that the majority of its customers have made the jump to MSFS 2024.

“The majority of our community flies on MSFS2024, and maintaining development for both simulators significantly increases workload. Our goal is to focus our time, energy, and creativity on the future—delivering higher-quality sceneries that fully utilize the latest technology.

All of our existing sceneries still need to be ported to MSFS2024. Releasing Tripoli for both MSFS2020 and MSFS2024 would only delay this process further and stretch resources unnecessarily.”
