Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 Gets New Sim Update 1 Beta Build
Today, Microsoft released a new beta build of Sim Update 1 for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
It includes plenty of fixes and corrections for many aspects of the sim, including the Boeing 737 Max 8, the EFB, and some of the navigation and avionics suites.

Boeing 757 for Microsoft Flight Simulator Shows Systems in Extensive Video; Won’t Release in Q1
BlueBird Simulations released an extensive video showcasing a work-in-progress version of the Boeing 757, focusing on its systems. Of course, they’re not finished, but they’re certainly promising.
The developer mentions that the aircraft doesn’t have a release date yet. An internal timeline exists, but it’s not ready to be made public. They will announce the release date when they’re within two weeks and are sure that the aircraft is ready. It won’t be in Q1 2025, and before that happens, they want to go through three phases of testing,
Muan Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator Gets New Trailer and Screenshots
Fly2High released a trailer and screenshots of Muan International Airport (RKJB) in South Korea. While we have no release date yet, we do hear a list of features.
- Realistic Terminal Modeling
- Hand-made ground textures (Runways, aprons, paths, roads).
- Accurately modeled and positioned dynamic airport lighting.
- Highly detailed models of all airport buildings, objects, and surroundings.
- Good optimization of FPS
Dallas Fort Worth Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and 2020 Available for Preorders
In a rather unorthodox move, Imaginesim opened pre-orders for its Dallas Forth Worth (KDFW) Airport in the United States. You can pre-order the airport at the developer’s store for £24.99.
Those who pre-order will get early access to the beta planned for Q1 2025 rather than wait for the release in Q2.
Here are the features promised:

- Five highly detailed terminals (and a construction site for a sixth).
- Extensive cargo operator facilities.
