Free Airbus A380 by FlyByWire Getting Native MSFS 2024 Version With Optional Cabin and More

During a panel at FSWeekend, FlyByWire had news about its freeware Airbus A380. We learn that the developer is working on a native MSFS 2024 version (the aircraft is currently compatible with the sim, but natively built using MSFS 2020).
This is bringing about the ability to provide separate versions with and without the cabin. On top of that, there are also significant improvements to lighting.
The biggest gain is in terms of performance, thanks to MSFS 2024’s modular system. In the gallery above, you can also see the difference in performance made by the new system, both in low and high settings.
The developer won’t provide a strict timeline for the release, but they hope it’ll be within 2026.

Beechcraft King Air 200 for MSFS 2024 Gets New Screenshots

Carenado revealed new screenshots of its Beechcraft King Air 200 for MSFS 2024, mentioning once again that it’s “coming soon.”
The initial announcement also mentioned MSFS 2020, but the version for the older sim is likely coming at a later date as usual.
Szczecin–Goleniów Airport for MSFS Gets New Screenshots and Enters Beta

Drzewiecki Design revealed new screenshots of Szczecin–Goleniów Airport (EPSC) in Poland.
We also get the usual brief development update, which mentions that the airport has entered beta and is coming close to release.
“EPSC Szczecin for MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024 has now entered Beta and is moving toward release.
At this stage, the scenery is already feature-complete, with the focus shifted to final testing, optimization, and small corrections across the airport. The project brings a detailed representation of the Szczecin airport, including the apron system, markings, lighting, landside layout, service areas, technical infrastructure, hangars, and a broad set of custom-built airport assets designed specifically for this location. As always, the goal was not only to match individual objects, but to capture the atmosphere of the real airport as a whole.
One of the most interesting aspects of this scenery is the new terminal, which we were able to recreate thanks to detailed reference resources, even though the real building is planned to open in 2027. This gave us a rare opportunity to reflect the airport as it will look in the near future – one that you can already experience in the sim.”
