Digital Vortex Entertainment has just announced the release date for a new cozy, first-person indoor farming simulator. Tiny Eden will release on PC via Steam on September 7.
Tiny Eden allows players to grow an agricultural wonderland inside their futuristic city apartment, starting with just a packet of seeds and some soil. Players will be able to grow a number of crops, such as strawberries, tomatoes, peas, and herbs, to turn their dull gray concrete home into a lush paradise. Each species of plant has its own growth cycle and unique needs throughout the changing seasons.
Players can enjoy customizing their indoor garden by selecting various planting pots to decorate the apartment. In addition to the plants, there will be customizable furniture, lights, floors, and other ways to make it feel like a home.
After growing a variety of crops, players can harvest the fruits of their labor by selling the fruits and vegetables outright or by turning them into jams and pickles to fulfill orders from neighbors. The profits allow players to purchase more plants, equipment, recipes, decor, and upgrades.
CEO of Bajjka Games, Aliaksandr Piskun, shares what makes Tiny Eden special:
“Tiny Eden is a calming, meditative game about forming the small daily rituals that I’ve found have sustained me during sad times. Our goal was to create a place for players to slow down, live in the moment, and experience the gentle nature of plants and gardening.”
Best of all, you can also take care of a cat, who may have its own preferences about how you shape your indoor paradise.
