Seed Sparkle Lab has revealed the official release date for the full release of Starsand Island, its cozy life/farming sim that’s been in Early Access for roughly six months.
Starsand Island will have its 1.0 release on August 18, 2026, on both PC and consoles, bringing the adventure to a new player base outside of PC Early Access.
In Starsand Island, players can live the island life of their dreams alongside a community of characters that players can befriend and even romance. Additionally, the game offers a multiplayer experience, where players can live on their dream island with their friends. In fact, multiplayer offers a unique currency and its own rewards in a multiplayer shop.
Players will be able to do a variety of things around the island, including farming, crafting, ranching, and fishing. There’s also exploration and combat, all of which can be leveled up with unique quests.
Compared to the most recent Early Access update, the full launch of Starsand Island will add new three- and five-heart quests and events for 19 NPCs. Additionally, new dating activities will be available for the 14 romanceable NPCs, including things like picnics, flying kits, and going to the arcade together.
There will also be a new Autumn Pumpkin Carnival event. This will have its own quests and storyline, as well as activities like catching jellyfish, growing special festival pumpkins, and even producing candy. There will be seasonal rewards and event exclusives during the new festival.
