Today, EA revealed The Sims 4 Enchanted by Nature Pack, a new expansion pack that’s full of whimsical, fantasy content like fairies, enchanted forests, magic, and more next month.
To kick things off, Sims will be able to go through a transformative questline and become fairies. There are two main fairy paths: the Harmonious Fairy and the Discordant Fairy. Harmonious Fairies are focused on helping those around them, while Discordant Fairies are fulfilled when they make life harder for others.
As a Fairy, Sims feed off the emotions of others. They can get this from other Sims or from Emotion Potions. Without emotions, Fairies are doomed and may meet an untimely end. As part of this, Fairies are able to manipulate the emotions of other Sims to suit their needs.
Of course, all Fairies need wings. Players will be able to customize these wings, along with new skin tones, ears, teeth, tattoos, and head accessory options. Additionally, a Fairy charm can be used for a special WooHoo for procreation purposes.
For Sims who aren’t interested in becoming a Fairy, there are still things to do. They’ll be able to use Fairy Dust to enchant plants, breathe life into Gnomes, and more.
The Sims 4 Enchanted by Nature Pack will come with Innisgreen, which is made up of three neighborhoods: the Coast of Adhmor, Sprucederry Grove, and Everdew.
The Coast of Adhmor is a seaside village that’s focused on living a simple life, and it’s very peaceful. Sprucederry Grove is a bit more intricate, blending cozy, whimsical aesthetics with technology. Last but not least is Everdew, a mysterious and enchanting forest.
The Enchanted Pack will also include new jobs, skills, and traits. Players will be able to help those around them with home remedies made at the Apothecary Table, and they’ll have the option to live off the land and in the trees with the help of the Nature Nomad Aspiration.
Living in Innisgreen means living a balanced life with the natural world. Some of this revolves around luck, and new lucky (and unlucky) charms can be crafted.
Sims can become imbalanced (or even very imbalanced) if they aren’t respecting nature, which can cause a variety of problems, including the following:
- Skill acquisition slows down
- New Ailments can show up that have both good and not-so-good effects (like Greenie Meanie, Emotional Void, Simoleon Fever, Sonic Sinuses, and more)
Ailments can be cured by remedies made at the Apothecary Table. New resources like the Lightning Root and Aura Blossom can be used to create cures found in recipes.
Those who practice hard can turn home remedies into a job to become a Naturopath (especially those who have the added Elixir Enthusiast Aspiration).
Several of the features seen in the Enchanted by Nature Pack were created alongside community creators, which players can read more about here.
The Sims 4 Enchanted by Nature Pack will be released on July 10, 2025, on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
Those who purchase The Sims 4 Enchanted by Nature pack before August 21, 2025, will get the early purchase bonuses. These are the Lofty Leaf Pond, the Mycena Lantern, and the Disguised Dwelling Fairy Home.
