The Sims 4 revealed a new expansion today, the Businesses and Hobbies Expansion Pack, and it’ll let anyone live out their small business ownership dreams.
Sims will be able to turn their hobbies into business, including two new hobbies Tattooing and Pottery.
Players can make money by offering these services or selling their creations. Tattooing is especially interesting, as players can draw their own tattoo designs with a Tattoo Paint Tool.
Players can dictate certain rooms in a home to be specifically for their small business. From there, they’ll hire employees, set prices, and decide what rules everyone needs to follow.

A more in-depth look at the expansion pack will come on February 18 when the official gameplay trailer is released. The Sims 4 Businesses and Hobbies Expansion Pack will be released on March 6 at 10 am PT across all platforms that the Sims 4 is on, including PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One.
Those who preorder or purchase the Expansion Pack by April 18 will get the Set Up Shop Digital Content pack. This includes the Practice Makes Perfect Priscilla Statue, Sweetest Treat Display Case, and Beautiful Flaws Lamp.
This upcoming Expansion Pack comes after the Life and Death Expansion Pack from last year. EA Investor Day 2024 revealed that there’s a lot more of The Sims coming this year, so players have quite a bit to look forward to.
