Set in a fully explorable world, The Dragon Queen is a medieval RPG that boasts branching quests, dungeon battles, mine exploration, home building, and a climactic multi-phase boss fight against the fearsome Dragon. You and up to 12 players can band together to complete these quests and reap the rewards that come alongside them – or you can prove you might and venture out alone.

Snowfall Games is an indie game studio that has already created numerous titles in Fortnite thanks to the map creator system, including Crysal Tycoon, Zombie Raiders, and Hunt Bigfoot. The group’s goal is to create meaningful experiences over profit, crafting games that foster connection, reflection, and positive change in their communities.

In accordance with that mission statement, the developers revealed that they will also be raising money and awareness for women in STEM upon the release of The Dragon Queen. Upon launch, Reinvented Inc. and Snowfall Games will host a 12-hour charity livestream featuring top creators like Xyla Foxlin, Real Engineering, and Integza, in the hopes of raising $100,000 for programs that help girls break into STEM.

Every quest completed and challenge conquered helps raise money for women in STEM, meaning that, just by playing, you’ll be contributing to the project. This is made possible thanks to the Fortnite Island Creator Program, which initially launched back in 2023.

The program allows eligible island creators to receive engagement payouts based on how much players interact with their published islands. As such, The Dragon Queen and its donation to STEM will be based on how popular its map is compared to others in the program.
