Team Heretics Takes the Win at Valorant Esports World Cup 2025 Tournament

Team Heretics at Valorant Esports World Cup 2025

Week One of the Esports World Cup 2025 has concluded, and the Valorant segment of the seven-week-long event has concluded, crowning Team Heretics the winner after a tumultuous bracket.

The Grand Final of the Valorant tournament at the Esports World Cup 2025 came down to Team Heretics and Fnatic, and Team Heretics pulled off a thrilling reverse sweep.

Team Heretics had a rough road to the Playoffs Stage. During the team’s Group Stage, it was initially knocked to the Lower Bracket after a loss to NRG. However, it won both its elimination match against Titan Esports Club and its decider match against Rex Regum Qeon.

This qualified Team Heretics for the Playoffs Stage, where they triumphed over BBL Esports and Gen.G Esports to go to the Grand Final.

The first game, played on Lotus, went 13 to 4 to Fnatic. The team rosters were as follows:

  • Fnatic:
    • Chronicle: Viper
    • Kaajak: Raze
    • Boaster: Omen
    • Alfajar: Killjoy
    • crashies: Fade
  • Team Heretics:
    • MiniBoo: Neon
    • RieNs: Breach
    • Boo: Omen
    • benjyfishy: Viper
    • Wo0t: Fade

The second game was played on Sunset, where Fnatic won 13 to 1 over Team Heretics. The team rosters were as follows:

  • Fnatic:
    • Chronicle: Cypher
    • Kaajak: Yoru
    • Boaster: Omen
    • Alfajar: Neon
    • crashies: Sova
  • Team Heretics:
    • MiniBoo: Neon
    • RieNs: Sova
    • Boo: Omen
    • benjyfishy: Vyse
    • Wo0t: KAY/O

At this point, Team Heretics took control back and fought hard for their Grand Final win. The third round went to Team Heretics in a 13-11 win on Icebox with a roster as follows:

  • Fnatic:
    • Chronicle: Sage
    • Kaajak: Jett
    • Boaster: Viper
    • Alfajar: Killjoy
    • crashies: Sova
  • Team Heretics:
    • MiniBoo: Omen
    • RieNs: Sova
    • Boo: Viper
    • benjyfishy: Killjoy
    • Wo0t: KAY/O

From there, Team Heretics won again in a 13-10 win on Haven with the following roster:

  • Fnatic:
    • Chronicle: Vyse
    • Kaajak: Yoru
    • Boaster: Astra
    • Alfajar: Chamber
    • crashies: Sova
  • Team Heretics:
    • MiniBoo: Yoru
    • RieNs: Sova
    • Boo: Omen
    • benjyfishy: Cypher
    • Wo0t: Iso

Finally, the two teams ended on Ascent, where Team Heretics continued fighting and ultimately won 13-10 with the following roster:

  • Fnatic:
    • Chronicle: Vyse
    • Kaajak: Yoru
    • Boaster: Omen
    • Alfajar: Chamber
    • crashies: Sova
  • Team Heretics:
    • MiniBoo: Yoru
    • RieNs: Sova
    • Boo: Omen
    • benjyfishy: Cypher
    • Wo0t: Jett
