SNF has released a short teaser on YouTube, featuring two characters from Art of Fighting, potentially teasing the announcement of a new Art of Fighting game.

The video has two distinct parts that reference Art of Fighting characters: Mr. Karate’s mask and Robert’s coin flipping and gloves. That’s all the teaser shows off, and the description for the video is just a vague, with a simple tengu mask emoji. The video title, “Fanks know what this means…” is also pretty cryptic.

Considering a new Art of Fighting game was confirmed last year at the EVO 2024 celebrations, this is most likely what the teaser is referring too. At the time, it was brought up that the projects being developed were “far out” in the future.

The new Art of Fighting game was teased as far back as 2023. What we do know about the upcoming Art of Fighting is that it will focus on South Town in “all its seventies glory.”

It’s been quite some time since a new Art of Fighting game has released — 1996 with Art of Fighting 3: The Path of the Warrior, to be exact. This wouldn’t be the first time SNK has brought back a series from a near-grave, either.

Fatal Fury, another SNK franchise, had gone over 20 years without a new game before Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves released earlier this year.

Fans can watch the latest SNK video and (likely) Art of Fighting announcement teaser below:

For those not familiar with the Art of Fighting games, an anthology of them is available on the PlayStation Store, and the original game is available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
