Feudal Japanese life sim Sengoku Dynasty has detailed what to expect from its next Bushidō update, which will be all about bandit raids.
Bushidō update 1.1.0.0 is all about the chaos and turmoil that occurred during the Sengoku age, when villages had to deal with bandit raids. As its leader, it is up to you to take action and stand firm, defending your people, even if it means bloodshed and fighting.
In the teaser for the update, you can see villagers running for their lives as bandits invade the town. There are numerous ways to combat this threat, including sniping them with bows from watchtowers or getting right into the middle of the action by using greatswords, axes, and just about anything sharp enough to do damage.
Sengoku Dynasty originally launched into early access on August 10, 2023, last year. The game sets players in feudal Japan, tasking them with building and managing villages. You must gather resources, craft, hunt, build, and farm to do so successfully.
Sengoku Dynasty officially launched out of Steam Early Access earlier this year. Since the full release, Toplitz Productions has been updating the game regularly, keeping the promises that were made back in November regarding the 1.0 content plan update they would be releasing in parts throughout 2025.
Alongside the raids in the next update, these updates will include new features, such as romantic dialogues and quests, marriage, childbirth, and even childcare, paving the way for players to transfer their legacy to an heir. Currently, there is no exact release date for the update, although the developers have stated it will arrive soon.
The Sengoku Dynasty is currently available on Steam, starting at $29.99.
