Video Game Mental Health Charity Safe In Our World Announces Ambassador’s Class of 2025

Today, Safe In Our World revealed the list of people who have been selected to be a part of their Ambassador’s Class of 2025. The video game charity centers around mental health, with this induction serving as a means to celebrate people in game development who help contribute to mental health awareness.

Safe in Our World originally launched on World Mental Health Day on October 10th, 2019. It is sponsored by Playground Games, Ninja Theory, and Rare, three of the biggest names in the industry.

According to the foundation website, their collective mission statement is to create an online destination where people can seek help, access resources and information, and discover stories from real related to the games industry so that they can share their stories.

When speaking on the inductions, Playground Games studio head Trevor Williams stated:

“We are incredibly excited and proud to be sponsoring Safe In Our World’s Ambassadors Class of 2025. We endeavour to raise awareness, encourage discussions and provide support around mental health within the games industry. By fostering an environment of wellbeing and inclusion we continue to grow a diverse and healthy team where we can be even more creative and innovative in the way we design our games and in our workplace.”
