It’s another day closer to the release of Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma and another day with a fun bachelor trailer, this time centered on the Oni leader, Kai.

Kai is a classic example of someone who is rough around the edges but not a bad person. He’s the leader of the Oni, and he’s a bit infamous for his cheerful yet bossy attitude. He’s proud of his strength, and he almost always hides his face behind a mask.

However, Kai is also fiercely protective of those close to him, like his henchman. There’s also previously-released footage from Valentine’s Day that shows him playing around with a group of children. That same trailer also sees him talk about letting the Oni get out into the world, living above ground instead of being cooped up and trapped beneath it.

The trailer for Kai is only available in Japanese at the time of writing this. This has been the standard for the individual bachelor and bachelorette trailers — Marvelous USA will most likely post the English version of the trailer later today or in the next few days.

Fans can watch the Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma Kai trailer below:

With 16 eligible singles in the game, there are still quite a few waiting to be released. For bachelors and bachelorettes, there’s still Hina, Fubuki, Kanata, Ikagura, Pilika, and Cuiland. It’s not clear whether Kaguya and Subaru (the playable characters) will get their own trailers.

Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma will be released on May 30 on Nintendo Switch and PC (via Steam).
