Project Motor Racing Shows off Multiplayer, New Classes and Cars, True2Track Surfaces, and More

Giants Software has brought Project Motor Racing to the SimRacing Expo, showing off some of the new additions to the sim, including a playable multiplayer mode, new classes, new vehicles, Daytona International Speedway, and the True2Track dynamic surface system.

Project Motor Racing is available at SimRacing Expo, and attendees will get a first look at the multiplayer game mode. There are also new cars to race with, including the following:

  • Roush Mercury Cougar XR-7
  • Chevrolet Camaro Z28 IMSA GTO
  • Audi 90 quattro IMSA GTO
  • Mazda RX-7
  • 2023 Toyota GR010 Hybrid (LMDh)
  • 2023 Acura ARX-06 (LMDh)
  • 2002 Cadillac Northstar LMP-02 (LMP)
  • 1989 Mercedes-Benz Sauber C9 (Group C)

These span across various classes, including the two new ones, PMR and the 964 Trophy class. Additionally, the Daytona International Speedway will be featured in the launch track lineup as one of 18 global locations and 28 scanned tracks.

Giants Software is also giving a new look at True2Track, the dynamic surface system that comes from scanning tracks. It’s a hyper-realistic system that constantly tracks how roadways are impacted by the world around them. For example, roads will gather rubber from tires as a race goes on, and this is affected by higher temperatures as the rubber becomes slick as it heats up.

Weather is a major factor in this as well, and the True2Track system even affects how puddles form and drain. Cans can watch the new trailer for the True2Track system below:

Project Motor Racing is set to release on November 25, 2025, on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
