Frontier Developments has shared a new Feature Focus video showcasing an in-depth look at the creative aspects of Planet Zoo 2.
The video starts by highlighting some of the ways players can customize their zoos to make them comfortable for visitors, including pathway construction, educational structures, and dining plazas. Zoos can be tailored to specific themes, allowing players to customize the spaces with bright colors, natural scenery, or however they’d like. There are workshop blueprints for those who want something pre-built, but players can also get creative and build everything from the ground up if they so choose. Finished designs can be shared with other players around the world.
Additionally, players can use tools to sculpt the landscape in their zoos to create lakes, rivers, hills, and mountains. Foliage and rocks can be added with ease to give the area lots of detail. We get a look at the adorable mountain hares enjoying their environment with many of the customization options added to their exhibit. There is also a quick look at how the zoo visually changes with the passing seasons, such as with autumn foliage and snow.
You can watch the full Feature Focus video below to get a feel for how each of these creative aspects will work in the game:
The video ends by teasing the next Feature Focus, which will explore “much further afield,” hinting at possibly the wildlife reserves.
