HyperVR Games is releasing Pets and Stuff, a cozy veterinarian and groomer game, later this month for players on SteamVR.
Pets and Stuff takes players into a pet clinic, where they’ll work to befriend pets, farm animals, and wild animals by grooming and healing them. These adorable pets can be house-trained dogs and cats to farm pigs to wild bear cubs and raccoons.
To start with, players will need to befriend the animals with treats before making sure they’re clean. Players may need to give them medicine, treat parasite problems, and even clean their teeth.
After that, players can let their creativity flow. They’ll be able to dye pets and choose accessories to groom them to perfection. Of course, all of the dye is pet-safe, and players will be able to take pictures of their favorites.
There are various locations that players can visit, including the following:
- Regular Clinic
- Forest Clinic
- Farm Clinic
- Fantasy Clinic
Players will be able to upgrade each clinic, repairing broken areas and decorating as much as they’d like.
The VR game will also release with two content packs, Angry Pets and Glove Shelf. These introduce some very agitated animals and magical gloves, respectively. Players can watch a trailer for the game below:
Aivars Neihefers, Producer at HyperVR Games, shared their thoughts on the VR game’s upcoming release:
“Pets & Stuff is a simple, yet engaging introduction to VR for animal lovers of all ages. We’ve wanted to make our adorable sim as accessible as possible, and launching on SteamVR and all of its supported headsets helps us spread the furred!”
Pets and Stuff will be released on May 23, 2025, for SteamVR and Meta Quest.
