HoYoverse has opened up sign-ups for another Petit Planet closed beta, inviting players to try the cozy life simulation game in its Stardrift Test.
Petit Planet takes players to the Starsea, a sprawling galaxy where players will settle on a planet and make it their home as a Planet Tender. Doing so means crafting furniture and decorating the planet, fishing, farming, and other cozy activities.
It also means hopping across planets and inviting fuzzy Neighbors to come settle on the planet. These adorable creatures are part of the social aspect of Petit Planet, alongside the Galactic Bazaar.
The Galactic Bazaar is a multiplayer area where players can meet other players and play minigames, relax and chat, hold auctions, and more.
The second closed beta test for Petit Planet is set to start on April 21, 2026. Those interested in taking part in the Stardrift Test can sign up here on the official Petit Planet website. Fans can also preregister on the same page, which will earn them rewards when Petit Planet goes live.
Compared to the first closed beta test, the second closed beta test will introduce more Neighbors to befriend, enhanced Starsea Voyage travels (which is where players can travel the Starsea), and more things to do in the Galactic Bazaar. For more information on the last closed beta test, you can read our experience with it here.
The Petit Planet Stardrift Test will be available on PC, Android, and iOS. It will be a data wipe test, so players will lose their progression after the closed beta ends.
