Paralives is releasing in Early Access in less than two weeks, and Paralives Studio has revealed what content will be available on release and what will be added through the Early Access period as free content updates.
To start with, players will have nearly all of the main features for creating Parafolk available on day one. This includes sliders for height, body, and face details, a tattoo placement tool, a genetics system, asymmetry options, and a color wheel for everything. Additionally, there are layering options for clothes.
In the future, Paralives Studio will add a pet creation option, the ability to edit the genetics of Parafolk with more detailed tools, and even more clothes, hairstyles, and accessory options.

Paralives’ Build Mode will need more work through the Early Access phase, though plaeyrs will have plenty of options to create buildings on day one. For starters, there’s flexible wall placement tools to create curved/angled walls, an optional grid for building split-level options, multi-floor homes, object resizing, fences, stairs, and roofs.
Through the Early Access period, players can look forward to more roof and stair tools, window and door placement on curved walls, basements, pools, and more furniture to decorate with.

Paralives is a life simulation sandbox game, so there’s quite a bit to do besides creating Parafolk and homes. An entire open world exists for players to peruse as their Parafolk live lives.
Parafolk will have an aging and death system on Early Access launch, and their needs, personality traits, emotions, skills, and wants will need to be balanced. Parafolk will progress at work and in their careers, and in their free time, they can perform actions as a group at visit shops, restaurants, and museums.
They’ll have bills to pay, and house fires to (hopefully) avoid, and Parafolk’s autonomy gives players the chance to step back and observe them.
Paralives will also offer modding tools from the start.
As for future Paralives content, players can look forward to a dynamic weather system with seasons, a calendar and family tree feature, vehicles, swimming, NPC story progression, gardening, fishing, and social events like parties and weddings.
Additionally, there will be even more personality traits, emotions, wants, and job options for Parafolk. There will also be animals like dogs, cats, and even horses.

Paralives is set to release in Early Access on May 25, 2026, on PC after it was delayed last year. Those interested in playing the game on day one can check out the PC requirements for Paralives here.
