All the animations shown off are themed around things the Parafolks will do around town. They include the following:

  • Knock on Door
  • Throw Coin in Well
  • Dig with Shovel
  • Sig with Bare Hands
  • Contemplate Art (along with a variation)
  • Get Newspaper From Dispenser
  • Read Newspaper
  • Get Snack From Vending Machine
  • NPCs Leisure Walk
  • Yoga Pose 1-2-3

Several of these animations come with news about the game, like the fact that Parafolk can dig up old chests. These chests can help boost the local museum’s collection. Then, Parafolks can contemplate even more art.

A Patreon post from Paralives Studio explains the Leisure Walk. In the early development of Paralives, all Parafolks shared the same walking animation. This didn’t feel very realistic, so new walking animations are coming that are dependent on the Parafolks’ personality, mood, or age.

Fans can check out the Paralives animations in the video below:

Paralives is an upcoming life simulation game that has its own unique art style that many in the life simulation community have been looking forward to. As its Early Access release date gets closer, developers have shared several videos of the game on YouTube, including various Town Events and a Museum Tour.

Paralives is set to release in Early Access on May 25, 2026, on PC. The system requirements for the game have already been released, as it was delayed from its original December 2025 Early Access release date.
