Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase February 5, 2026 – All the News and Reveals

Today, Nintendo held a Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase to show off the games coming to the Switch and Switch 2 from its development partners. We’ve summed up everything that was revealed and discussed in the Direct in case you couldn’t tune in for yourself.

To start with, Keplar shared more on Orbitals, a two-player adventure following the survivors of a galactic storm. It’ll be available for Gameshare, letting a player share the game with another console to play together. It’s set to release exclusively on the Switch 2 in Summer 2026.

Paranormasight: The Mermaid’s Curse from Square Enix was announced next, a thrilling and mysterious visual novel about a mermaid legend and the town around it. It’s set to release on Nintendo Switch 2, PC, iOS, and Android on February 19, 2026.

Bandai Namco announced Captain Tsubasa 2: World Fighters, a character-based soccer game, that’s coming to the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC later this year.

Next, Binary Haze Interactive announced Tokyo Scramble, a survival horror game that lets players play together using Gameshare. Players can control different aspects of the main character for a unique experience. It’s coming exclusively to the Nintendo Switch 2 on Feb 11, 2026 on Switch 2.

Coffee Stain Publishing announced that it’s bringing Valheim, its popular Viking-themed survival game, to the Nintendo Switch 2 later this year. It’s currently available on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.

Hollow Knight from Team Cherry is getting a Nintendo Switch 2 upgrade, which enhances the visuals and framerates of the popular platformer. This will be available later today, and the upgrade pack is free for those who own Hollow Knight on the Switch already.

Konami revealed that eFootball Kick-Off! is headed to the Nintendo Switch 2 in Summer 2026, bringing the eFootball series to the Nintendo console in its own game.

Square Enix also showed off The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales, its upcoming HD-2D RPG that goes through time. It’s set to release on June 18, 2026, on Nintendo Switch 2, PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

Konami also shared that Super Bomberman Collection from Konami is bringing popular retro games from the franchise to the Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC later today. This will include some new modes and GameShare support (for Nintendo consoles).

Square Enix announced that Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is coming to the Nintendo Switch 2, continuing Cloud’s journey on the console. It will be released on June 3, 2026, though it’s already available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

Next, Capcom showed off Pragmata for the Nintendo Switch 2, its upcoming action-adventure game following Hugh and Diana in a sci-fi universe. It’s set to release on Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on April 24, 2026. Players can play the demo on the Nintendo eShop later today.

Saber Interactive revealed that Turok Origins, the monster-survival game, on the Nintendo Switch 2. It’s set to release in Fall 2026, though it’s already available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

Kyoto Xanadu from Nihon Falcom is an anime action game that lets players switch between platforming exploration and 3D fighting, and day-to-day high school shenanigans. It’s set to release on the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 in Summer 2026, with the potential for other consoles being announced in the future.

Bandai Namco revealed that Digimon Story Time Stranger is coming to the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. It’s set to release on July 10, 2026, though players can already enjoy the game on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

Granblue Fantasy: Relink – Endless Ragnarok from Cygames is bringing the ARPG to the Nintendo Switch 2 on July 9, 2026.

Capcom showed off another look at Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection, which is set to release on Nintendo Switch 2, PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on March 13, 2026. A demo will be available later today, and the save data will transfer to the full game when it’s released.

The Arcade Archives are also getting a new title: Rave Racers 2 (Hamster Corporation). At the same time, a Console Archives is being introduced today for the Nintendo Switch 2 with Cool Borders and Ninja Gaiden II: The Dark Sword of Chaos. Other games will be coming in the future, like Doraemon and Sonic Wings Special.

Next, Nintendo had its infamous Sizzle Reel, which shows off a plethora of titles and updates quickly. The news from this is as follows:

  • Another Eden Begins: Nintendo Switch 2 Edition, Wright Flyer Studios: Summer 2026
  • Reanimal, THQ Nordic: February 13, 2026 (Nintendo Switch 2)
  • WWE 2K26, 2K: March 13, 2026 (Nintendo Switch 2)
  • Star Trek: Voyager – Across the Unknown, Daedalic Entertainment: February 13, 2026 (Nintendo Switch 2)
  • Disney Dreamlight Valley: Nintendo Switch 2 Edition, Gameloft: March 25, 2026
  • PGA Tour 2K25, 2K: February 6, 2026 (Nintendo Switch 2)
  • Culdcept Begins, Neos: July 16, 2026 (Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2)
  • Goat Simulator 3, Coffee Stain Publishing: April 1, 2026 (Nintendo Switch 2)
  • Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun, Daedalic Entertainment: March 18 (Nintendo Switch 2)
  • Tales of Arise – Beyond the Dawn Edition, Bandai Namco: May 22, 2026 (Nintendo Switch 2)

Next, Capcom showed off another look at Resident Evil Requiem on the Nintendo Switch 2. The game is also set to release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on February 27, 2026. Additionally, Resident Evil 7 Biohazard and Resident Evil Village will be released on the console on the same day, alongside a special Pro Controller. Leon and Grace are getting amiibos this summer, too.

The last announcement of the day was from Bethesda, where it revealed that several of its iconic games are coming to the Nintendo Switch 2. These include Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition (February 24, 2026), Indiana Jones and the Great Circle (May 12, 2026), and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered (2026).
