Perfect World Games has revealed the NTE (Neverness to Everness) release date, and it’s headed to players’ hands on April 29, 2026.
NTE (Neverness to Everness) is a free-to-play open-world RPG set in the sprawling city of Hetherau. There, players will work hard (and play hard) to defend the city against supernatural anomalies that threaten their home in dramatic and comedic stories.
There have been two closed beta tests for NTE (Neverness to Everness) in the past 18 months, as well as event appearances where players have been able to try the game out. Based on feedback from all of this, Perfect World Games has improved on a few areas of the game, such as the crime system and vehicle system, as well as the graphics.
The crime system lets players do whatever they want in Hetherau, as long as they can take the consequences. Committing a crime raises the player’s wanted level, which can lead to the police going after the player. Players can be arrested and sent to jail, where they can either serve their time or stage a prison break.
Another big feature of NTE (Neverness to Everness) is the vehicle system. Players will be able to drive around in any of the vehicles in the game, including regular cars, supercars, motorcycles, and muscle cars.
While driving around, players will have to take care with the weather. Just like real life, snow and rain can make it easier to drift and lose control, and vehicles can have their tires popped, take damage, and even explode. Of course, NTE (Neverness to Everness) has a bit of poppy, fun charm, and players will also be able to jump out of their vehicles in the middle of their drive.
NTE (Neverness to Everness) has been updated to Unreal Engine 5.7, which introduced Global Illumination System support. Players can check out the DLSS 4 comparison trailer as well below:
