Today, iRacing Studios released a new video about the upcoming racing simulator Nascar 25, showing new gameplay, on top of the full roster of drivers featured.
On top of getting a few glimpses of work-in-progress racing and pre-racing sequences, we hear from a few professional drivers who share their opinion about the game.
Specifically, we hear from William Byron, Christopher Bell, Ty Majeski, Sammy Smith, Lavar Scott, Anthony Alfredo, Eloy Falcon, Rajah Caruth, and Lanie Buice. They all seem to be suitably impressed by the physics and realism.
We also get some commentary from production director Matt Lewis.
You can check it out below.
On top of the video, we also get the reveal of the full roster of over 180 drivers from the Nascar Cup Series, Xfinity Series, Craftsman Truck Series, and ARCA Menards Series that will be featured in the game. You can find them all at each link above.
If you’re unfamiliar with the Nascar 25, it’s the next officially licensed Nascar sim developed under the iRacing umbrella after the creators of the popular esports-focused sim acquired the license for the console renditions of the sport.
It’s coming on October 14, 2025, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. A PC version will follow “soon” after. If you want to see more, you can check out the career mode and another video about presentation and racing experience.
It’ll certainly be interesting to see how realistic this sim will be, considering iRacing’s experience in hosting the official Nascar esports championships on its online platform.
